When NorCal Bully Breed Rescue in California got a call about a shelter dog named Pelican, their hearts broke instantly. The tiny Frenchie had been brought in as a stray, otherwise healthy, but suffering from painfully infected ears that can only be treated with surgery. (Watch Video Above)

Pelican has been suffering from severe ear infections that were left untreated for far too long. The damage is now so extensive that the inner parts of her ears need to be surgically removed.
NorCal Bully Breed Rescue wants nothing more than to pull her from the shelter and give her the chance she deserves, but the surgery alone will cost around $10,000, far beyond what the rescue can afford on its own.
They’re now racing against time to raise enough funds to cover her medical care before it’s too late. Pelican has been placed on the shelter’s euthanasia list, meaning her life depends on how quickly help can arrive.
